Sponsored by the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce, the Community Leadership Service (CLS) program provides participants, accomplished individuals who are retired from full-time careers and looking to leverage their talents in the Greater Williamsburg Area, with a unique perspective of the Greater Williamsburg Area – its leaders, civic needs, governing bodies, and key organizations in a single organized experience, unmatched by any other program.

Our participants complete the program having gained a deeper understanding of their community and the areas where they can make a positive impact.

Many of the key organizations involved in the program engage CLS alumni as thought partners, volunteers, and board members, which strengthens area ties, bolsters growth, and fosters new opportunities within the community.
